Funeral services for Billy Joe “B.J.” Gibbs Jr, 49. of New Caney will be held at 11 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 27, 2011 at Neal Funeral Home in New Caney. Interment will follow at Tennessee Cemetery in Shelby County.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 26 at Neal Funeral Home.
Mr. Gibbs passed away Sunday, Nov. 20. He was born Monday, Nov. 27, 1961 in Houston to Patricia Ann and Billy Joe Gibbs Sr.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Jonathan Amos Gibbs; brother, Jeffrey Lynn Gibbs; and nephew, Joey Cannon.
Mr. Gibbs is survived by his wife of 21 years, Sandy Gibbs; children, Brandie Leann Gibbs and Chris Taylor, Misty Renee Gibbs and Shaun Nowling, Ashley Nicole Pinkert and husband, Dusty, Jessica Gibbs, Brittany Michelle Gibbs, and Stormy Lynn Gibbs; brother, Wayne Gibbs; sister, Lynnette Darlene Gibbs Cannon and husband, Otis; grandchildren, Cheyenne Taylor, Eric Taylor, Austin Taylor, D’Shaun Nowling; nieces and nephews, Arron Cannon, Melory Gibbs, Joseph Gibbs, Lori Gibbs and Charlotte Gibbs; cousin, Shelia Dabney; and numerous other loving family and friends.
