A driver was transported to the hospital following a single-vehicle wreck on Tuesday night. According to Texas Department of Public Safety State Trooper Stephen Lister, on Tuesday, March 20 at approximately 9:30 p.m. Shane Curry Jr., 23, was traveling northbound on Highway 87 South in a 2007 red Chevy Cobalt. Curry hit a slick spot in the roadway, hydroplaned and rolled onto the southbound side of the roadway ejecting Curry from the vehicle. Curry was transported by private vehicle to Shelby Regional Medical Center for treatment of his injuries. He was cited for no seat belt.
