Eleven 4-H students participated in the Henderson County Shoot held recently at Rose City Flying Clays in Tyler. Those participating were Taylor Morris, Tyler Morris, Kristoffer Risinger, Jack Ford, Zack Fausett, Tory Davis, Konner Windham, Ryan Helms, Jarred Richards, Colton Ethridge, and Logan Holloway.
In the Junior Novice Division (first year 4-H shooter) Tyler Morris placed 3rd in Trap.
The Senior Novice Division (first year 4-H shooter in Senior age bracket) had two students earn awards: Jarred Richards, 4th in Skeet and 5th in Trap; and Jack Ford, 1st in Skeet and 2nd in Trap.
Logan Holloway placed 1st in Skeet, Trap, Whizbang, and Sporting Clays in the Junior Age Bracket. Logan also received a belt buckle for Junior Overall Highpoint.
It was a beautiful day for a shoot and we look forward to the next one. The shooting sports team was coached by John Holloway and Murray Mathews.
