Funeral services for Darlie Rainey Wheeler, 59, of Center were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 27, 2012 at Watson and Sons Funeral Home with William Eddins officiating. Interment followed at Thomas Cemetery in San Augustine.
Mrs. Wheeler passed away Friday, May 25 in Nacogdoches. She was born Jan. 21, 1953 in Houston to Luther Partin and Bonnie Bean Partin. Mrs. Wheeler was of the Southern Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Jerry Rainey.
Mrs. Wheeler is survived by her husband, Charles Wheeler of Center; son, Tony Rainey of Houston; daughters, Tina Elumbaugh and husband, Lee, of San Augustine, Nickie Tarver and husband, Ray, of San Augustine, Carey Agnew and husband, Scott, of Shelbyville and Heather Walker of Lufkin; grandchildren,
Ginger Lundell, Toni Rainey, Jessica Runnels, Tyler Elumbaugh, Chad Elumbaugh, T.J. Tarver, Megan Tarver, Madison Agnew, Blane Agnew, Maci Walker, Emma Walker and Presley Walker; great-grandchildren, Dalton Sowell, Jaelan Elumbaugh, Parker Lundell, Jettah Greer, Cutter Tarver and Pepper Tarver; and cousin, Robert McKethian of Alazan.
Pallbearers were Scott Agnew, Todd Walker, Tyler Elumbaugh, Elton Bush, Thomas Brown and John Gray Jr.
Honorary pallbearers were James Wheeler, Tommy McClelland, Don Bush, Tommy Harris, Don Parmer and John Gray Sr.
