Four people injured in early morning wreck. A single-vehicle wreck occurred on Highway 7 West Tuesday. According to Texas Department of Public Safety State Trooper Brent Murray, on Tuesday July 10 at 3 a.m. 1.6 mi west of Loop 500 on State Highway 7 West a grey 2004 Honda four-door vehicle driven by Ubah Mohamoud, 20, of Nacogdoches was traveling westbound. The vehicle left the roadway to the right, traveled over two culverts and a driveway before colliding with two trees, and came to rest on a grass embankment facing west. Mohamoud was traveling with passengers Abdirashid Mohamed, 23, Ahmed Mohamed, 24, and Maryama Jama, 22. Ubah was transported to Shelby Regional Medical Center for treatment. Abdirashid and Ahmed were transported to Nacogdoches Memorial, and Jama was transported to East Texas Medical Center. No citations have been given at this time.
