Graveside services for Raymond Luther Morgan, 83, of Tenaha will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 9, 2012 at Ramah Cemetery with Pastor Bob Beaty and Pastor Joe Hagan officiating.
Mr. Morgan passed away Monday, Aug. 6 in Nacogdoches. He was born Feb. 16, 1929 to Gustiff “Gus” and Myrtle Garner Morgan. He was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Nacogdoches.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers and sisters.
Mr. Morgan is survived by his wife, Pauline Burk of Lumberton; children, Shirley Spurlock and husband, Michael, of Tenaha, Kenneth Morgan and wife, Cindy, of Center, Sherry Morgan of Shreveport, La., Bobby Morgan of Nacogdoches and Shelia Sparks and husband, Doug, of Marshall; grandchildren, Eric Spurlock, Candice Eaves, Toni Lawrence, John Morgan, Skyler Morgan, Tressie Morgan and Layla Mayfield; great- grandchildren, Chaez Spurlock, Ella Eaves, Gracie Morgan,Tucker Morgan and James Morgan; stepchildren, Jerry Burk of Lumberton, Bryan Burk of Tyler and
Jimmy Burk of Lumberton; Judy McRae of Nacogdoches brother, Homer Morgan of Budda, Ill.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Kenneth Morgan, Bobby Morgan, Doug Sparks,Eric Spurlock, Mike Spurlock and Steven Eaves.
