Wreck results in arrest of one female

A single-vehicle wreck that occurred at the intersection of Daniels Street and Matlock Street resulted in the arrest of the driver. At approximately 10:30 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 10 Neckcolus Hubbard, 40, of Center was traveling on Daniels Street in a Chevrolet Impala when she failed to yield to a stop sign, traveled through the intersection of Matlock Street, and Into a dead end. Center Police Officers arrived at the scene, and an ambulance was also dispatched to the scene. City workers (inset right) arrived to help clear trees from around the wrecked car. Center Police Officers Sgt. Scott Burkhalter observed as Officer Jeremy Konderla performed a sobriety test on Hubbard and she did not pass. Hubbard was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated, and is suspected of being high on PCP.
