Graveside services for Barbara “Jeff” Watkins Stephenson, 71, of Gary were held at 10  a.m. today, Monday, March 7, 2011 at Mt. Bethel Cemetery in Gary with Ashley Curtis officiating.  
Mrs. Stephenson passed away Sunday, March 6 in Nacogdoches. She was born December 15, 1939 in Center to Pleas Wright and Charlcie Edna Goodman Watkins. Mrs. Stephenson was a loving wife, mother and homemaker and a Jehovah’s Witness.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Stepehson; parents; daughter, Teresa Stephenson; and sister, Billie Jean Crump.
Mrs Stephenson is survived by daughter, Lisa Stephenson of Gary; sister, Dixie Watkins of Gary; half-brother, Tom Steel of California; a host of nieces and nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces and and great-great-nephews.
