Funeral services for James Burk Clark, 59, of Center will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 26, 2011 at Watson and Sons Funeral Home with Bro. don Noble and Bro. Michael dickerson officiating. Interment will follow at Spann’s Chapel Cemetery in Shelby Count.
Mr. Clark passed away Thursday, Feb. 24  in Shreveport. He was born Nov. 9, 1951 in Center to Lee Burk Clark and Annie Vorice Byrd Clark. He was a member of Spann’s Chapel Missionary Baptist Church. Mr. Clark owned and operated 4C Cattle Company and was self-employed in the logging industry for many years.
He was preceded in death by infant twins, Brett James and Suzanne Morgan Clark; father, Burk Clark; and father-in-law, James Buckner.
Mr. Clark is survived by his wife, Jeannie Clark of Center; children, Cody Clark of Center and Judd Clark and wife, Megan, of Center; grandson, Lane Allen Clark of Center; mother, Vorice Clark of Center; aister, Gloria Denum and husband, James, of Lufkin; mother-in-law, Claudine Buckner of Center; and sisters-in-law, Kathy Kay and husband, Chuck, of Huxley and Jamie Buckner of Center.
Pallbearers will be Boo Klein, James White, Michael Kay, Zach Warr, Mike Johnson and Ricky Harbison.
