Funeral services for Bonnie Sue McGinnis, 74, were held at 1 p.m. today, Monday, March 21, 2011 at Watson and Sons Funeral Home with Bro. John Witham officiating. Interment followed at Oaklawn Memorial Park.
Mrs. McGinnis passed away Friday, Feb. 18, 2011 in Conway, Ark. She was born June 9, 1936 in Center to Arthur Hughes and Essie Jernigan Hughes.
She was preceded in death by father, Arthur Hughes; mother, Essie Hughes Corbitt; stepfather, Paul Corbitt; son, Richard McGinnis; and brother, Johnny Hughes.
Mrs. McGinnis is survived by her husband, Richard “Mac” McGinnis of Conway, Ark.; daughter, Barbi Wood and husband, Darin, of Conway, Ark.; grandchildren, Saige Wood and Connor Wood; sisters, Judy Leverett of Nacogdoches, Becky Hopkins of Center, Kathy Mosley of Carthage and Betty Jacks of Nacogdoches; sister-in-law, Sigrun Hughes of Nacogdoches; and numerous other relatives and friends.
