Funeral services for Sue Campbell Davis, 67, of Center were held at 10 a.m. today, Wednesday, Sept. 14, 2011 at Watson and sons Funeral Home with Bro. Aubie McSwain and Jerry Campbell officiating. Interment followed at Oaklawn Memorial Park.
Ms. Davis passed away Sunday, Sept. 11 in Garrison. She was born Feb. 23, 1944 in Center to Frank Campbell and Lizzie Mae Huckabay Campbell. Mrs. Davis was of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by parents, Frank and Lizzie Mae Campbell; sisters, Margie Campbell and Billye Cather; brothers, Curtis Campbell, E.C. Campbell, Jim Campbell, Otto Campbell, Buster Campbell, Maxie Campbell and Tommy Campbell; sisters-in-law, Irene Campbell and Faye Campbell; and brother-in-law, E.F. “Kicks” Worsham.
Ms. Davis is survived by sons, John Davis and wife, Kim, of Center and Sean Davis of Timpson; daughter, Donna Hall and husband, Lee, of Logansport, La.; grandchildren, Trey Wilson and wife, Danielle, Dusty Davis and wife, Ashley, Ty Wilson, Dandi Davis, Campbell Davis, Madison Davis, Canton Davis, Dyllan Hall, Mallory Hall, Matthew Reynolds, Cameron Reynolds, Tristian Reynolds and William Reynolds; great-grandchildren, Aubree Camp, Aidan Davis, Cason Davis, Landry Davis, Kaylee Reynolds and Riley Reynolds; special grands, Holly Hughes, Jacob Hughes, Tyler Muckelroy, Abbie Muckelroy, Dean Mize and Marnie Mize; sister, Eula “Bootsie” Worsham of Center; brothers, John Campbell and wife, Ginny, of Atlanta, Ga., Coy Campbell of Center, Glenn Campbell and wife, Inez, of Center, Jerry Campbell and wife, Melody, of Lewisville and Ken Campbell and wife, Molly, of Timpson; sisters-in-law, Earline Austin of Shreveport, La., Rosemary Campbell of Rodessa, La., Joy Campbell of Center and Jo Campbell of Austin; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Pallbearers were Ken Muckleroy, Rusty Davis, Gary Mize, Michael Lee, Lance Hughes and J.L. Berel.
