Mrs. Clark passed away Sunday, Jan. 22 in Nacogdoches. She was born Jan. 26, 1947 in Center to Alvis Clark and Grace Bradberry Clark. Mrs. Clark was a retired nurse and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star in Beckville, Texas.
She was preceded in death by mother, Grace Bradberry Clark; father, Alvis Clark; son, Charles Eric Jones; and brothers, D.G. Clark and James Clark.

Mrs. Parker passed away Saturday, Jan. 21 in Center. She was born Aug. 1, 1947 in Shelby County to Jim and Gladys Snider Vaughn. She was a member of Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church. Mrs. Parker worked in the Shelbyville ISD school cafeteria for many years.

Mr. Freeman passed away Thursday, Jan. 19 in Tenaha. He was born May 8, 1930 in Joaquin to L.L. Freeman and Britt Annie Nunley Freeman. Mr. Freeman was a coach and teacher in Desoto Parish for 44 years and a United Methodist Minister for 23 years.

Mr. Burns passed away Jan. 19 in Many, La. He was born Nov. 10, 1921 in Center to Rufus Lafayette Burns and Sallie Cogswell Burns. Mr. Burns served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II. He retired after many years of service as a rural letter carrier.
