Mrs. Adkinson passed away Thursday, Oct. 20 in Center. She was born Dec. 20, 1930 in Bennington, Okla. to George McIntyre and Martha Covurn McIntyre. Mrs. Adkinson was a member of First Baptist Church in Center.

Mangum Funeral Home announces the death of Mrs. Wanita Lawrence, age 87, of Center. Mrs. Lawrence passed away Tuesday, October 18, 2011 at Pine Grove Nursing Home.
A Memorial service will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses at a later date.
She was born January 1, 1924 in Marshall, Texas. She was a telephone operator for many years and she and her husband Milton Lawrence owned and operated the Rug Doctor and cleaned many businesses around Shelby County. She was a member of the Kingdom Hall.

Mr. Dutton passed away on Sunday, October 16, 2011 at Shelby Regional Medical Center.
He was born in Center on December 5, 1965 to Howard Lawrence Dutton and Beatrice Denby Dutton. Rickey attended Dreka Pentecostal Church. He loved to ride dirt roads, swim in the lake and was an avid hunter.
Funeral services for Waymon Moore, 88, were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Ocotober 16, 2011 at Mangum Funeral Home Chapel in Center. Burial followed at Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Moore passed away Thursday, October 13, 2011 at Shelby Regional Medical Center.
He was born September 8, 1923 in Noble, La. to William B. Moore and Pearl (Anderson) Moore.
He served in the US Army during WWII.

Ms. Spencer passed away Friday, Oct. 7, 2011 in Newton.
She is survived by niece, Faye Doris Brackens of Orange; great-nephew, James Brackens and wife, Vickie, of Orange; many other relatives; and a host of friends.

She is survived by sons, Richard Roddy Jr. and wife, Tina, of Center and Robert A. Roddy and wife, Jeannie, of Lumberton; daughter, Margie Bolton and husband, James, of Center; grandchildren, Chelsea Bolton, Hayden Bolton, Jessica Lee and Amber Bailey; and great-grandchildren, Abigail Cooper, Hunter Cooper and Caitlyn Brussard.

He was preceded in death by parents; and brothers, Ronald Williams and Jimmie Opal Williams.
