Graveside services for Edward “Eddie” Spurlock, 48, of Carthage will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 11, 2012 at Willow Grove Cemetery in Shelby County with Pastor Guidry officiating.
Mr. Spurlock passed away April 8 in Shelbyville. He was born Feb. 7, 1964 in Carthage to J.D. Spurlock and Sue Gibbs Spurlock.  
He was preceded in death by parents, J.D. Spurlock and Sue Gibbs Spurlock.

Michael A. Sanders Jr.

Louise Meyers

Graveside services for Louise Meyers, 70, of Center will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 7, 2012 at White Rock Cemetery in Center with Angela Waller officiating.
Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Saturday, April 7 at Watson and Sons Funeral Home.
Ms. Meyers passed away Thursday, April 5 in Center. She was born Feb. 16, 1942 in Shelby County to Julius Elzie Windham and Corine Meyers Windham.  
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Randy Windham; and grandson, Brandon Windham.

W.J. Chevalier

Funeral services for W.J. Chevalier, 60, of Joaquin will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday, April 7, 2012 at Mangum Funeral Home with Bro. R.B. Elumbaugh  and Bro. Mike Fodge officiating. Interment will follow at Johnson Cemetery in Joaquin.
Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, April 6 at Mangum Funeral Home.

Willie D. Yarbrough
1951–2012
Funeral services for Willie D. Yarbrough, 60, were be held 1 p.m. Saturday, March 31, 2012 at New Hope C.M.E. in Timpson with Rev. W.G. Morris officiating. Interment followed at New Hope Cemetery.
Mr. Yarbrough was born July 23, 1951 to Inez Yarbrough and Herbert Yarbrough. He attended Timpson North High School. Mr. Yarbrough worked for Holly Farms, Cooper Industries and Tyson Foods. He was a member of New Hope C.M.E. Church, which he joined at an early age.

Shirley Horton

Graveside services for Shirley Horton, 75, of Center will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, April 6, 2012 at Roy, Cemetery in roy, N.M. with Bro. Chuck Horton officiating.
Mrs. Horton passed away Tuesday, April 3 in Center. She was born July 25, 1936 in Harding County, N.M. to Albert Johnston and Mina Woods Johnston. Mrs. Horton was a member of Folsom Chapel Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Frank Horton; and son, Lynn Horton.

Dorothea L. Kiker

Funeral services for Dorothea Lurline Kiker, 94, of Winnie, formerly of Hamshire were held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 31, 2012 at the First United Methodist Church of Winnie-Stowell. Interment followed at Fairview Cemetery.

Graveside services for Marceline Green, 83, of Shelbyville will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, March 31, 2012 at Shelbyville Cemetery with Bro. Carl Smith and Bro. Johnny Allen officiating.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Saturday, March 31 at Watson and Sons Funeral Home.
Mrs. Green passed away Thursday, March 29 at Shelby Regional Medical Center in Center.  She was born Mary 26, 1928 in Center to O.L. Parker and Lois Wilburn Parker. Mrs. Green was a member of Lone Star Baptist Church.

G.C. Meyers
1929–2012
Graveside services for G.C. “Red” Meyers, 82, of Center will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 29, 2012 at Campti Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Thursday, March 29 at Watson and Sons Funeral Home.
Mr. Meyers passed away Monday, March 26 at Holiday Nursing Home in Center.  He was born Aug. 19, 1929 in Shelby County to Henry H. Meyers and Luie Sumner Meyers. Mr. Meyers was employed at Tyson for 25 years and also worked as a commercial fisherman. He was of the Pentecostal faith.

Evie Lena Fletcher

Funeral services for Evie Lena Fletcher, 92, of Center will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 28, 2012 at Watson and Sons Funeral Home with Bro. Tim Perkins officiating. Interment will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Park.
Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Tuesday, March 27 at Watson and Sons Funeral Home

Dale S. Schuler
1932–2012
Dale Santford Schuler passed away, March 22, 2012 in San Augustine. He was born July 30, 1932 to Ralph Ruehle Schuler and Esthes May Dow Schuler in Custer County, S.D. He owned his own business, Schuler &Sons Construction, in Grand Prairie for many years.
No services are planned at this time.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ralph Ruehle Schuler; mother, Esthes May Dow Schuler; and sister Grace Piecha.

Charlie M. Goodwin
1930–2012
Funeral services for Charlie M. Goodwin, 82,  were held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 21, 2012 at St. John Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Marlin Cloudy officiating. Interment followed at St. John Cemetery.
Ms. Goodwin passed away March 15. She was born March 3, 1930 in Center to Charlie and Eliza Goodwin. She united with St. John Baptist Church at and worked faithfully as a Sunday School teacher, singing in the choir, as choir secretary, as Mission Society treasurer and as a member of the Kitchen Committee.
