CHS Class of ‘56 announces plans
The CHS Class of 1956 plans to have a big big blast for its 55th reunion on Oct. 15 at the Civic Center. The schedule is as follows: Friday, Oct. 14, ball game, sit together as group; Sat, Oct. 15, morning alumni meeting at Civic Center, at 2 p.m. meet at Lee Payne Lunsford’s home to decorate float for parade, at 4 p.m. meet at Farmers State Bank to ride float in parade, at 7 p.m. reunion party at Civic Center.
Visitors welcome, especially those from ‘53-’59 classes.

Timpson Class to celebrate 50th
The Timpson High School Class of 1961 will celebrate its 50th class reunion on Friday and Saturday, Oct. 14-15 in Timpson. We have not been able to locate James Bailey, Ernie Banks or Lois Oliver. Classmates will meet at the homecoming ball game on Friday, Oct. 14 and sit together and cheer for the Bears. On Saturday, meet at the Timpson American Legion Hall for visiting and eating. There is a fee for the plate luncheon. Class of 1961 to have 50th Blast

The Class of 1961 will have their “Big Blast 50th Reunion Celebration” Homecoming weekend, Oct. 14-15. Friday night homecoming activities will begin at 6:45 with the Homecoming Court and Queen Presentation. The football game will begin at 7:30 p.m. Saturday’s scheduled activities: Alumni Meeting will begin at 10 a.m. and will be held at the John D. Windham Civic Center; 1:30 p.m. all classmates interested in helping decorate the float should go to Polly Barron Smith’s parent’s some place on Shelbyville Street. It is located across from H&S Grocery; 3:30 p.m. all classmates should be at the Farmers State Bank parking lot to get on the float; 4 p.m. Parade begins; 7 p.m. Class of 1961 “Big Blast 50th Reunion Celebration” will be held at the John D. Windham Civic Center. Graduates from the class of 1960 and 1962 are invited to join us. Pick up your tee shirt at The Balcony (on the square) prior to 1:30 p.m. Saturday.

CHS Class of ‘71 announces plans
Center High School Class of 1971 will celebrate its 40th reunion Oct. 14-15. Classmates will sit as a group at the homecoming game Friday night. On Saturday, Oct. 15, anyone that wants to ride on the homecoming float, should meet in the parking lot of First Methodist Church of Center, 211 Porter Street at 3:30 p.m. Parade begins at 4 p.m.
The class reunion will be at 7 p.m. Saturday night at the Windham Civic Center. Also, for those that want to attend, the Alumni Breakfast will be held at the Civic Center Saturday at 9 a.m. For more information or to RSVP, contact David Pigg at dpigg53@yahoo.com or 678-982-4166.

CHS Class of ‘76 announces plans
The Center High School Class of 1976 reunion will take place during homecoming weekend, Oct. 14-15.  Those attending the 7:30 p.m. football game Friday night will sit together. We will have a float in the homecoming parade and will gather at 3:30 Saturday afternoon in the Famers State Bank back parking area ahead of the 4 p.m. parade. Bring a lawn chair. CHS Class of 2001 reunion information
Reunion is going to be Oct. 15. There is a fee for the attendees.  Classmates are asked to start sending your reunion fee now. There of two options to sending reunion fee, 1) mail cashier check, money order or cash to P.O. Box 565, Center, Tx 75935, or 2) call Shelby Savings Bank and transfer your money into the account. Shelbyville Class Reunion Oct. 22
The Shelbyville Class Reunion will be held the Saturday Oct. 22. Doors open at 4 p.m. for visiting. Brisket meal served in the cafeteria at 6:30 p.m. There is a charge for the meal.
