This Month Garden Club Awards

  • The Center Garden Club has selected the home place of Lois Chandler as Yard of the Month for April. All of the gardening work was done by Ms. Chandler, who loves caring for her red roses and red Amaryllis flower bed. These “fantastical” Amaryllis are prized for their exotic trumpet shaped flowers that add dramatic color to their home on Porter and Carroll Streets. These stunning flowers are said to mean pride, strength and determination for standing so tall above the flowers. Submitted Photo
